On May 12, 2021, the kick-off meeting of Shandong Province Key R&D Program (Major Science and Technology Innovation Project) "Research and Development of High Performance Dual-Channel Conversion Single Photon Detector Quantum Lidar System" was held in Shandong Haifu Photonics Technology Co. Ltd, Dr. Shen Tu Guoliang, General Manager of the project, Dr. Shi Wei, General Manager of Haifu Photonics, Dr. Fang Qiang, Vice General Manager of Haifu Photonics, Fan Hua, Researcher of Laser Research Institute of Shandong Academy of Sciences, Wang Zhangjun, Researcher of Marine Instrument Research Institute of Shandong Academy of Sciences, Professor Sun Baoqing, Dr. Xia Jinbao of Shandong University and representatives of other subject units attended the meeting.

The meeting was hosted by Dr. Shen Tu Guoliang, the project leader, and General Manager Shi Wei, the project lead unit leader. At the meeting, General Manager Shi Wei delivered a speech on behalf of the project, congratulating on the approval of the project and putting forward suggestions and hopes for the project implementation. The project leader Dr. Guoliang Shen Tu explained the basic situation of the project, relevant assessment indexes and time schedule, and further clarified the organization and management mechanism of the project and unit interface relationship on the basis of the project task book. Subsequently, each subject leader reported on the technical content related to the subject, and had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the project technical scheme and assessment indexes, and finally formed a meeting resolution, which clarified the overall project work idea and implementation schedule. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project as planned, the project leader suggested that the follow-up units should strengthen communication and liaison among the project, and organize online project seminars every one to two months to inform the progress of project implementation.

As the lead unit of the project, Haifu Photonics will take responsibility in the management, service to do a good job to protect, fully support the project to carry out the work, the implementation of this project will effectively enhance China's single photon detector, single frequency fiber laser and quantum detection lidar independent technology innovation capacity and industrialization level, improve the province and even China's atmospheric detection, environmental monitoring capabilities and levels, to win the battle of blue sky, haze monitoring and other new technologies, new equipment and new standards.
